Scientific study is fundamental to gaining official recognition for MD and developing targeted interventions. By gathering data and supporting scholars worldwide, we bridge the gap between academic research and the MD community.

We are building a comprehensive repository of all scientific publications on Maladaptive Daydreaming, with the goal of becoming the global point of reference for researchers, clinicians, and individuals seeking reliable information.

Please be patience while we complete this huge task. Consider volunteering with us to help.

Submit Your Research

We have created a directory on the ISMD website where established researchers like yourself can list their names and research focuses.

This directory serve as a resource for graduate students seeking collaboration, co-supervision, or advice on their MD-related research. Your inclusion in this directory would provide invaluable guidance and support to emerging scholars in our field.

Project 1: Researcher Directory for Graduate Student Collaboration
This directory will serve as a resource for graduate students seeking collaboration, co-supervision, or advice on their MD-related research. Your inclusion in this directory would provide invaluable guidance and support to emerging scholars in our field.

Project 2: Research Assistant Opportunities for Aspiring MD Researchers
In this project, we aim to connect motivated students aspiring to be MD researchers, who are interested in volunteering as research assistants in the field, with established labs. Researchers can add their names and labs to our website, allowing interested individuals to apply to work with them as research assistants on current MD studies. This initiative seeks to provide hands-on research experience and foster the next generation of MD researchers.

We believe that your participation in these projects will greatly enhance the resources available to the MD research community and help to advance our collective understanding of this important topic.
