Who We Are
Dreamweaver Narratives is a newly launched scientific creative magazine dedicated to raising awareness around maladaptive daydreaming. Our content includes research summaries, mental health tips, creative writing, essays, and art.
Our first issue will be published digitally at the end of 2024. It will be available for those who wish to donate to our cause, or sent directly to your inbox if you are a current ISMD member!

Guidelines and Deadlines
Deadline:
Deadline for submissions is on September 21, 2024.
Theme and Focus:
Dreamweaver Narratives is dedicated to raising awareness about maladaptive daydreaming and mental health. We are looking for works that explore these themes in creative and thought-provoking ways.
Written Works Submission Guidelines:
File formats: DOCX, PDF
Word count: Essays (Up to 1,500 words), Short stories (up to 2,000 words), Poetry (60 lines or less)
Artwork Submission Guidelines:
File formats: JPEG/JPG, PNG
Size: Maximum size of 3000 pixels (or 10 inches) on its longest edge. And max file size of 10MB. (Please note: Increasing the resolution of a previously saved file will not increase the image quality.)
Rights and Permissions:
Non-Exclusive Rights: Dreamweaver Narratives can publish the work, but the author retains the right to publish it elsewhere at the same time. We may archive your work on our website and digital formats.
Response Time:
You can expect to hear back from us within 3 weeks after the submission deadline.
Compensation:
Contributors will receive a copy of the journal, recognition on our website, and a complimentary 2025 ISMD membership.
