Maladaptive Daydreaming in the Arts

Our last webinar was about MD and the arts on October 22 at 5 pm GMT+1.

Maladaptive Daydreaming has only recently been discovered, but it has existed in humans before now.

What do we know about the relationship between people and daydreaming throughout history? Is there evidence of immersive, or even maladaptive, daydreaming occurring before it was discovered?

We don’t have a time machine, but we do have windows into the imaginations of long ago. Visual arts, literature, and film can help us shed light on this delicate and invisible part of human life.

Join our speaker, Valeria Franco, as she discusses traces of inner worlds through art and culture. Valeria holds a degree in Art Tourism and Management. Visit her Instagram and website about visual arts.

Valeria Franco is an art communicator and a marketing consultant for museums. In the ISMD she is part of the Board of Directors and responsible for marketing and media.
