Free event – open to everyone, not just members!

Our next webinar will be an interactive workshop and discussion where we hear how several members of the MD community found success in reaching their dreams, including  an author, a mom of three and a public interest lawyer.

Despite their MD, they learned how to get their daydreams under control to achieve their goals.

And so can you!

Our panelists will share their setbacks, strategies and tips for success.  Participants will be given the opportunity to share their hopes and goals  as well as their fears about how MD will limit them.  Then the group will brainstorm ways to help you to overcome your MD, succeed in hitting your goals and even thrive.

This workshop will take place on Thursday, February 20th at 6pm GMT/ 1pm EST/ (convert to your time zone).

What it is about

Fear that MD will limit real life success is one of the most difficult parts of having MD.

In fact , interfering with life functioning is one of the main criteria for daydreaming to be maladaptive instead of immersive. It was through living a lifetime with MD that speakers Jayne Bigelsen, Kyla Borcherds and Kristen Church learned the skills and tools needed to keep their daydreaming at bay enough to ensure the successful achievement of their lives’ dreams.

Panelists and audience will share tips on what has and hasn’t worked for them. Together we will brainstorm small steps and an action plan for success for anyone who chooses to share their goals and dreams.

Why is it different?

In a departure from previous ISMD webinars which focused solely on providing information, this will be our second webinar where we engage in a thoughtful facilitated group discussion.

Together, we will brainstorm useful tools and techniques on how to stop letting MD derail us getting and achieving what we want.  Let’s embark on this journey to better mental health and personal achievement as a community.
